PROFILE
Maximilian Ludwig Wilk was born in Offenbach am Main in 1991. During his A-Level he was a founding member of the Rotaract Club Bensheim. He holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Management & Technology of the Technical University of Munich (TUM). During his studies he absolved the entrepreneurial scholarship “Manage&More” of the UnternehmerTUM.
During his time in Munich, he used to hike several times a month at the mountain “Jochberg” at the lake Walchen. After reaching the summit, he had a stunning view over the island Sassau, fell in love with its’ unique nature and got aware of its’ hardly known history. LinkedIn Profile >>

SASSAU ISLAND
Sassau island is the one and only island in the lake Walchen in the south of Bavaria (Germany). Lake Walchen is one of the highest located and deepest alpine lakes of Germany. While Sassau island gave shelter to people during Thirty Years' War and the War of the Spanish Succession, it is one of the smallest forest nature reserves of Bavaria today. Beside that, lake Walchen attracts several ten-thousands of tourists every year with its beautiful nature. Thus, for Sassau Holding the Sassau island is a central role model, for a sustainable investment strategy committed to planet and people.
